Ideas, drawn out together
From first sketch to CAD file to working prototype, with mentors and open-source software close at hand. Designs are shared openly, so anyone can remix, repair, and build on them.
Tools and skill, shared freely
3D printers, laser cutting, wood and metal shops, textiles, and electronics benches, with makers teaching makers. Open file libraries let a design made in one place be built in another.
Material, given a second life
Plastic, metal, wood, fabric, electronics, and other offcuts can be reclaimed for the next build, instead of the landfill. Circular and modular design keeps materials looping back into what we make.

Dream Beam is a registered nonprofit, working toward holding land and shared tools for our first project in Eugene. The plan is a community hub featuring a fab lab, flex space, a tool and seed library, and a café lounge, open to everyone.
